Biography:

Jan Ebeling's career took off in 1998, when he became an American citizen after immigrating from Germany in 1984 where he had apprenticed and worked for the late German Master, Herbert Rehbein for many years. He proceeded to win multiple National Championships on a series of talented horses, including Funny Boy, Shapiro, Gucci, Liberte, Feleciano, Sandrina, Louis Ferdinand, Rassolini, Indeed, Blenheim, and Bellena. 
 
In 2003, he competed for the USA at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, clinching a team Gold medal. Jan is most notably known for his contribution to the United States Dressage team, earning a spot with Rafalca to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He has represented the United States in four different World Cup finals, won a Bronze medal at the Nations Cup in Aachen, and has competed successfully in countless FEI competitions throughout his career, both in the United States and Europe.  
 
In addition to Jan’s riding, he is a trainer specializing in working with talented riders and horses through to the Grand Prix level, and a very popular clinician in the United States and Europe.
